Updates from Wonderland!
November 14, 2015

Rounding out our exceptional cast for PETER PAN, I’m really excited to have Jessica Holmes return to the Elgin Theatre for her 3rd tour of Silly Duty with us. Her previous appearances were in Robin Hood and The Wizard of Oz…and I’ll never forgive her for insisting that I put on green makeup in playing the Wicked Witch of the West. (She was right….I was wrong…but that makeup took forever to put on and take off!)

Jessica HolmesJessica is a brilliant comedienne….having opened for Jerry Seinfeld and Ellen DeGeneres among others. She’s appeared with Second City and Just for Laughs but is probably best known for her many years on the CBC-TV series Royal Canadian Air Farce.

Currently Jessica has added Motivational Speaking to her comedy work and I expect that our audiences will be motivated to laugh out loud at this very funny talent.

Steffi DiDomenicantonio

Steffi DiDomenicantonio has a name that demands to be up in lights on a theatre marquee! I first was drawn to Steffi D when she was one of the finalists on TV’s Canadian Idol. She was so quirky and charming….always with a different ribbon or flower in her hair….and with one of the most powerful voices I’d ever heard. Steffi is going to be an exceptional Wendy.

Anthony MacPherson

Last but certainly not least is the young man playing the title role of PETER PAN. His name is Anthony MacPherson. If you’re not familiar with him….you soon will be. He’s a real triple threat. A brilliant singer, dancer, actor and I’m delighted to give him the opportunity to show his many abilities to our audiences at the Elgin Theatre. He’s such a natural performer and you’re going to love him.

PETER PAN rehearsals are in full swing and our first public performance is November 27, playing through January 3. We can’t wait to bring this brand new production to the Elgin for your enjoyment.
